Kustom Graphics II – Hot Rods, Burlesque and Rock-n-Roll

I'm really excited to have my design work included in a book called Kustom Graphics II – Hot Rods, Burlesque and Rock-n-Roll. My contributions include Factory 1969 t-shirt graphics and some client work.

There are too many amazing artists to mention - here are some favourites: Harry Brack, Jason Cruz, Jeff Norwell, C. Martin, "Dirty" Donny Gillies, Nick Cooper, Robert Kruse, Mighty Sam, Sol Rac and Jeff Tuckner.

The first volume is also amazing - anyone interested in lowbrow, tattoo and hot rod culture will love these books.

Two hot rod shows July 24-25, 2010

Factory 1969 will have a vendor display at two hot rod events this coming weekend.

Saturday, July 24, 2010 - 9th Annual Chestermere Show & Shine at the Chestermere Recreation Centre (corner of West Chestermere Drive and Highway 1A). The show runs from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Sunday, July 25, 2010 - We'll also be at the Rides 'n' Rods '10 – Calgary's Largest Motor Event. All proceeds of the event go to the Calgary HandiBus Association. The show is located in the Greenview Industrial Park - Edmonton Trail and 41 Avenue NE. Visit www.risesnrods.ca

Factory 1969 will have a vendor booth at the Roller's Car Club Hot Rod O-Rama. Saturday, July 17, 2010 at the Capitol Hill Community Centre - 14 Street and 20 Avenue NW, Calgary. The show runs from 11 am - dusk.

Quicktime Swap Meet - March 20, 2010

Factory 1969 will have t-shirts for sale at the Quicktimes Swap Meet Saturday, March 20, 2010. The show is at the Westerner Park in Red Deer, AB and runs from 8 am to 4 pm.

The shirts run from $20 to $28 - no GST. We may also have a couple designs on sale for $10 and $15 to clear some stock.
